[Introduction]
Have you ever heard a myth(how raven stole the sun)about the stars when you were little because I have. I have just learnt in school what the lifecycle of stars are. I have also just learnt that the sun is one of the smallest star in our solar system.
[Paragraph 1 - Information about the stars]
Stars have lots of great things about them and I am going to tell you three things you probably didn't know about them. When stars are first born they have to have a battle with the gravity to stay in the air. Stars are normally one to ten billion years old. My last fact about stars is that there are 400,000,000,000 in 5,000,000,000 galaxies.
[Paragraph 2 - Appearance]
Stars are made by their black bodies. Did you, know that the second brightest star in the whole solar system is one of the smallest stars in our solar system and that’s the sun. There are lots of stars in the sky but not all of them you can see. When the stars are shining down they do not give out enough steady light.
[Paragraph 3 - Types of stars]
The sun is a sun is a dwarf planet in our solar system. The biggest star in our solar system can make it’s own huge galaxy. Did you know that a shooting star isn’t a star it is really a meteor that is flying through that night sky. An exploding star, supernova, can generate shock waves so powerful that they compress a nearby nebular.
[Paragraph 4- Life cycle]
For a star to be born it needs a clump of dust and gas which is called Nebulae. When the stars are red giants they form a supergiant then they pleasure into a blackhole. Did you know that the sun is 5 billion years old.The force of gravity inside is so intense that nothing can escape it, not even light can escape it.
[Conclusion]
I hope you have learnt something from this information report and encourages you to write you own. If you want some more information on the stars you can look at my friends at hay parks blogs thank you for reading.

Kia ora Denzal,
ReplyDeleteI like the link that you made to the myth 'how the raven stole the sun' - very clever :)
Your next learning steps are:
1) Most of your information report was well written but you still need to proofread to further improve your work (for example: in one paragraph you wrote "the sun is a sun is a dwarf planet")
2) Make sure you have a clear topic sentence that introduces the topic and the main idea that you will be talking about in your paragraph (for example: instead of writing "Stars are made by their black bodies" - it would have been better if you said something like "Stars appear in a multitude of colours and sizes, and often these features tell you about how hot the stars are."
